Guide To Increasing Plywood Turnover Rate: Comprehensive Tips From Storage, Usage To Maintenance

Feb 09, 2026

The turnover rate of plywood directly affects engineering material costs. Mastering scientific storage, usage, and maintenance methods can increase the turnover rate of high-quality film-faced plywood from the conventional 8-12 times to more than 20 times. Combining years of engineering supply experience of Langfang Dadi Wood Industry and industry standards, this article shares comprehensive practical skills.

The storage link requires good "moisture protection, deformation prevention, and damage prevention". Plywood should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, with the ground raised 10-15cm to avoid moisture. The stacking height should not exceed 1.2 meters to prevent deformation due to heavy pressure. Products of different specifications should be stacked separately, covered with waterproof tarpaulin on the surface, kept away from open flames and corrosive substances, and the environmental humidity should be controlled at 40%-60%, which is in line with the storage requirements of film-faced plywood.

Standardized operation during use is necessary to reduce losses. Before cutting, accurately measure the dimensions and use CNC cutting equipment to ensure flat cuts and avoid edge chipping. During installation, ensure the support system is firm and the plate joints are tightly spliced to prevent damage caused by uneven force during pouring. When disassembling, follow the principle of "removing the later-supported parts first and the earlier-supported parts later", use special tools to pry gently, and prohibit violent disassembly that may damage the film on the board surface.

Maintenance is the key to extending the turnover rate. After each disassembly, promptly clean the concrete residues on the board surface, rinse with clean water and air-dry naturally, avoiding scratches on the film layer with sharp tools. If edge damage is found, repair it with special repair agents in a timely manner to prevent moisture penetration. For long-term storage, conduct regular inspections, keep the warehouse ventilated, and avoid aging and peeling of the film. Following the above processes, combined with the excellent base material performance of high-quality black film, red film, or DadiVisa plywood, can maximize the turnover efficiency and reduce the comprehensive engineering costs.
