How To Choose Brown Film Faced Plywood For Formwork

May 19, 2026

Brown film faced plywood is usually chosen by thickness, core, glue type and handling plan. For common formwork work, 1220 x 2440 mm panels are easy to load and stack. Buyers should check whether they need 12 mm, 18 mm or 21 mm, because thickness affects support spacing and reuse plan.
Before ordering, it helps to confirm pallet marks, edge sealing and moisture range. A clean film surface is useful, but storage and release oil also matter. If panels are kept flat and dry before use, the site team usually gets better results from the same batch.
