China has officially released the mandatory national standard GB 18580-2025, which is set to take effect on June 1, 2026, replacing the 2017 version. This update represents a significant upgrade in environmental protection requirements for wood-based panels.
Key Changes:
Higher Threshold: Unlike the previous uniform E1 level (≤0.124mg/m³) requirement, the new standard mandates that finished products (flooring, furniture, doors, etc.) must meet E0 level (≤0.050mg/m³) - a standard comparable to international environmental certifications.
Stricter Testing: While maintaining the 1m³ climate chamber method, the testing cycle has been shortened, ensuring more efficient and reliable quality control.
Langfang Dadi Wood's Commitment:
As a professional manufacturer with years of experience in the wood-based panel industry, Langfang Dadi Wood Co., Ltd. has always regarded environmental protection as the lifeline of our business. We have completed technological upgrades and process optimization ahead of schedule. Currently, all our interior wood panel products have steadily achieved E0 level, and some products are capable of reaching ENF level (≤0.025mg/m³), far exceeding the new national standard requirements.
Moving forward, we will continue to hold ourselves to the strictest standards, providing global customers with safer, more environmentally friendly and high-quality wood panels.
